12:00 - 13:30

Workshop - Inversions Inspired by the Ashtanga Yoga Tradition

14:30 - 16:00

Workshop - Just Handstands

A dedicated handstand practice for all levels. We begin with a short warm-up for shoulders, wrists, and core activation, followed by focused handstand work. Beginners will learn how to kick up and balance with confidence, while more experienced practitioners will refine alignment and develop new skills to deepen their inversion practice.

17:00 - 18:30

Workshop - Asana Technique & Discussion

An open session focused on asana technique, adapted to the needs of the group. Different bodies require different approaches, and this workshop creates space to explore adjustments, modifications, and individual understanding within the Ashtanga practice. Lotta Sebzda has been immersed in movement and inversion-based practice since childhood, often found upside down—practicing handstands, cartwheels, and gymnastics as a natural expression of her physical curiosity and strength.

In the late 1990s, she discovered Ashtanga Yoga, an encounter she describes as a sense of “coming home.” From that moment on, she was immediately drawn to the discipline, structure, and depth of the practice. Ashtanga Yoga became a central part of her life, shaped by dedication, curiosity, energy, love, and gratitude.

She has studied and practices in the traditional Mysore style, as taught by the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson R. Sharath Jois, maintaining a strong connection to the roots and lineage of the method.

Over time, her personal practice evolved to include a strong focus on handstand training, which became an integral part of her life around 2015. This exploration of inversions has supported and deepened her Ashtanga practice, enhancing both physical strength and body awareness. For her, handstands are not only a discipline but also a source of joy, playfulness, and vitality that extends beyond the mat into daily life.

Through her practice, Lotta brings together strength, precision, and curiosity, encouraging a balanced approach to movement that integrates discipline with freedom.
