TERMS & CONDITIONS AVRA YOGA STUDIO


 

GENERAL GUIDELINES

In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:

“Studio” means any and all of the physical spaces that are occupied and are part of Avra Yoga Studio, this includes reception, sitting area, rooms, corridors, classrooms, and all storage and team areas.

“Studio User” means any person that has purchased or made use of one of our yoga packages.

“Yoga packages” means any item that provides the client with access to our products/services or studio facilities.

“Terms and Conditions” are as defined here.

For the smooth operation, as well as for your own safety, health and pleasant stay at the Studio, please read carefully the rules that follow and constitute the Studio’s operating regulations.

By making any purchase of services implies automatic acceptance of the following terms, which are an integral part of the contract between us.

The Studio reserves the right to deny the entry to its premises of anyone who does not comply with these terms, does not respect fellow students, the staff as well as the premises.

​

The Studio reserves the right to modify or revoke any of the Terms and Conditions whenever it considers necessary to regulate its proper operation and the conduct of members. Any such changes will be posted on the website www.avrayoga.gr and, until revoked, are binding for all members.

The Terms & Conditions are published on the website www.avrayoga.gr. Users of the school must check the guidelines online and comply with them in order to ensure the smooth running of the school and the convenience of all its students.

PRIVACY POLICY

​

From your 1st participation in a class at the Studio, the following data is collected: 1) name, 2) contact numbers (landline/mobile), 3) email address, 4) phone number of a relative for contact in case of emergency, 5) medical history, information on any medications taken, medical certificates and opinions, which are voluntarily provided by the student and in which his capacity for physical exercise is confirmed, in order to achieve his safe participation in the activities provided. For pregnant women, an additional medical certificate from their gynecologist is required, in which their ability to exercise is confirmed, 6) your signature.

By providing an email address and a contact number, the student consents to receive email and/or contact by phone call, or text message for the purpose of information about classes or other activities of the Studio. You can stop receiving promotional updates at any time by using the unsubscribe link at the end of these messages or by contacting the Studio directly at the email address: info@avrayoga.gr or at the phone number 2114255017.

Your personal data is kept on file at the Studio and is not published, shared with third parties or processed in any other way than mentioned above.


 

OPENING HOURS & TEACHING SCHEDULE

Opening hours and classes schedule are published online at www.avrayoga.gr.

The classes are in groups or personal and last sixty (60) minutes. Group programs only take place if there is a minimum participation of two (2) people. The Studio reserves the right to modify, without prior notice, the times and days of group programs. Also, the school reserves the right to cancel any group program.


 

AGE RESTRICTIONS

​

If you are 16 and above you are able to attend any of our classes, workshops and programmes.

Those aged under 16 are permitted into classes with a parent or guardian present in the class with them. Anyone under the age of 13 is unable to participate in public classes, workshops and programs at the Studio, unless there is a class specifically designed for minors. They can book a Private Class where a parent or guardian will be present at the Studio.

All children under the age of 16 years are the responsibility of the accompanying adult when in the Studio premises.


 

CODE OF CONDUCT

​

The behavior of members must always be respectful and decent. Violent verbal or physical confrontation between members and generally inappropriate behavior is not permitted. Members are obliged to comply with the instructions of the staff and are prohibited from insulting or attacking them, verbally or physically. If they wish to complain, they should do so directly to the staff members, where their complain will be recorded. It is forbidden to shout and make any kind of noise in the Studio.


Also, members must take care of their personal cleanliness and follow the Studio’s hygiene rules. Those who do not bring their own mat and use those of the Studio are requested to disinfect them after use with the disinfectant spray provided in the classrooms.

The Studio reserves the right to refuse entry to students who does not comply with the its conduct policy which includes, but is not limited to:

/ No sexual, racial, nationalistic harassment or harassment of any type or form is allowed

/ Verbal or physical abuse of members or staff is not allowed

/ No use of substances is allowed

/ Smoking is prohibited in the premises

/ No violation of privacy will be tolerated

/ Students must take care of their personal hygiene during classes and within the facilities


 

ATTIRE & FOOTWEAR

​

When attending classes wear a form of dress appropriate to the practice of Yoga.

Footwear should be removed on entry to the premises and left on the racks provided in accordance with the instructions.


 

SAFETY & HYGIENE

​

Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.

No food is permitted in the changing rooms, classes or yoga studio.

Studio Users are requested not to walk around the Studio, changing rooms or showers barefoot if they have foot conditions (please bring a pair of flip flops with you).

Studio Users must use the appointed entrance to the Studio when entering or leaving the Studio.

BOOKINGS, ARRIVAL & LATENESS POLICY

​

To participate in a class you need to make a booking either online at www.avrayoga.gr or by contacting the Studio via email at info@avrayoga.gr or by calling at 2114205517.

On arrival at the Studio please check-in for your class at reception. Shoes should be removed there.

We recommend arriving at the studio 10-15 minutes before class in order to get ready at a tranquil pace and to be able to relax before class. However, we know this is not always possible. We ask that you arrive at the studio a minimum of 5 minutes before your class begins. Once the class has started, no late arrivals will be permitted to enter the class.


 

LATE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY

Early cancellations (up to 4 hours before start of the class):

​

You can cancel your booking up to 4 hours in advance by sending us an email at info@avrayoga.gr or calling at 2114205517. The class will not be credited to your package.

​

Late cancellations (within 4 hours of the start of the class) or no show:

​

If you cancel your booking within 4 hours of the class start time or miss to attend the class, the class will be removed from your subscription package if you have opted in for a number of classes package. For students with unlimited period passes, two days will be removed from the period of your package. For drop in students, future attendance will not be allowed.

 

Aerial Yoga Classes:

​

You have the right to cancel it 24 hours prior. If you fail to do that a class will be removed from any package you have.  For drop in students, future attendance will not be allowed.


 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

​

Personal belongings are brought in the studio premises at the member’s risk and the Studio does not accept liability for any loss or damage whatsoever to such items.

For security reasons members are advised to take valuables into the studio where they are to be placed in the appropriate cubby holes, and not leave them in the changing rooms.

Phones sounds must be completely silenced (sound and vibration off), or on airplane mode upon entry of the Studio User into the Studio, and throughout the Studio User’s entire visit.


 

FITNESS & HEALTH

​

Studio Users are advised not to undertake strenuous physical activities without first seeking medical advice if they have concerns over their physical condition. The Studio reserves the right to refuse access to any Member if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by the use of such facilities.

Studio Users with the following conditions should not attend class: low/high blood pressure and cardiac irregularities. If there is any doubt, the Member should consult his/her doctor. Members must notify the Studio of any circumstances affecting their health which may be exacerbated through continued use of the Studio.


 

PACKAGES T&Cs

​

All valid prices are published online at www.avrayoga.gr.

​

The studio reserves the right to change prices, packages and offers at anytime.

​

Packages are non-transferable and must only be used by the customer named at the time of purchase.

​

The expiration date of the packages is set at the time of purchase and does not change. Classes that will not be used by the student within the period of the package are not transferred to a later date and are lost after the package expires.

​

Limited time offers or other offers not listed on the website and/or in these Terms & Conditions will be published with additional Terms.

​

INTRO OFFER

​

Offer available to new students that have never attended a class before: 50% off on drop in price (no further discount will be offered).

​

DROP IN PASS/PRIVATE CLASS

​

Students will pay for the price of one single class before or after the class.

​

CLASS PACKAGES

​

"Class packages" refer to a specific number of classes purchased as a package that must be completed in a specific period of time.

The start of the package is activated on the date of purchase with a validity of one (1) or two (2) calendar months (example if your package starts on the 3rd of the current month, it will end on the 2nd of the next month).

A lesson will be removed from the package every time you book and join it.

Unused classes that may remain in a package after its expiration date are not transferred to a next package and cannot be used.

Moving the expiration date of a package is allowed only for medical reasons and not for a period longer than one (1) month, and the student must present a certificate from his medical doctor.

Packages are non-transferable and must be used only by the student named at the time of purchase. For booking cancellations check the cancellation and no-show policy.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

​

Subscriptions refer to unlimited passes and can be purchases for one (1), three (3) or six (6) calendar months. The student can participate in as many classes as they want during their subscription.

The subscription period is activated on the date of purchase with a validity of one (1), three (3), or six (6) calendar months (example if your package starts on the 3rd of the current month, it will end on the 2nd of the which your subscription will expire).

REFUNDS

​

Cancellation of subscription and refund is allowed only in the case of a medical problem of the student which makes them unable to exercise for a long or permanent period of time. In order for the refund to be approved, a written certification of the health issue from the medical doctor is required. The amount that will be refunded depends on the courses of the package that remain unused or the period of the subscription that remains until its expiration.


 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

​

The Studio cannot be held responsible for any service or equipment not being available for whatever reason. The Studio reserves the right to make alterations to the types of facilities provided, without notice.

It is the Studio User’s responsibility to ensure that they are capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provided by any programme that they follow or class that they attend. Studio Users accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and are advised to consult their doctor prior to beginning any programme or class. The Studio accepts no liability for loss or damage to property or injury of Studio Users on the Studio premises or outside the Studio except insofar as such loss, damage, or injury is by law incapable of exclusion.


 

STUDENT FEEDBACK AND COMPLAINTS

​

We welcome feedback as we know that any feedback helps to improve not only us as individual facilitators but as a team and training programme. Complaints may be presented to the facilitators, at which time they will do their best to come to a solution that supports both sides.
