DAILY SCHEDULE
21-22/2: Athens to Zanzibar via Ethiopian Airlines and transfer to our resort (very early morning arrival at the 22nd). Time to unpack, relax and rest at our rooms or the beach. In the evening, a relaxing Hatha Yoga class to help our bodies eliminate the stiffness of the journey. Dinner at the hotel.
23/2: Morning Hatha yoga practice before our breakfast. Next is a cruise on traditional wooden dhow boats. With them we will go to three different places of unique natural and underwater beauty of Zanzibar. We will have time to dive with masks and fins in the crystal waters and enjoy the world of corals. On the secluded island of Kwale, we will dine on local and seafood delicacies, before returning back to the main island and our hotel. One hour of yoga practice. Dinner at the hotel.
24/2: Morning yoga practice before our breakfast. The day is free to enjoy Matemwe beach or any other beach you would like to visit near by. In the evening a Yoga Philosophy Seminar and Yoga practice for one hour before our dinner at the hotel.
25/2: Morning yoga practice before our breakfast. Then the day's excursion is Jojani National Park and Paje beach one of Zanzibar's best beaches with white sand and local shops. In the afternoon before dinner we gather for our second Vinyasa or Hatha yoga practice. Dinner at the hotel.
26/2: Morning yoga practice before our breakfast. This is followed by an excursion to Mnemba Atoll for swimming with the dolphins and snorkeling. We return to the hotel for an Asanas Seminar & one hour of yoga practice. Dinner at the hotel.
27/2: Morning yoga practice before our breakfast. Beach day at our hotel, until the evening when we visit Stone Town to experience the beauty of this city. Dinner at the city, shopping, and free time to explore or have a massage there before we head to the airport for our return flight.

A deposit of €350 per person is required to secure your spot.
The remaining balance can be paid in installments, which will be calculated for you at the time of booking.

Maria Natsouli | Senior Yoga Teacher, Wellness Coach
Maria is an E-RYT 1000 Yoga Alliance teacher, Wellness Coach and retreats leader with over 3000 hours of teaching. Choosing to attend a retreat led by Maria is an opportunity to explore yoga in a relaxed and supportive environment. Maria's retreats are a break from the hustle, a chance to unwind and immerse yourself in the practice of yoga at your own pace. Her approach is is a harmonious blend of mindful movement, breathwork, and alignment, focusing on finding inner peace through yoga, pranayama and meditation.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, the retreat is tailored to accommodate and challenge everyone at their own pace. Q: What does a typical day at the retreat look like? A: Each day includes yoga sessions morning and/or evening (not mandatory to attend but of course recommended), free time for relaxation or exploration. The schedule balances activity and downtime for a well-rounded experience. Q: What kind of meals are provided? A: Nutritious and delicious breakfast will be provided, catering to various dietary needs. We prioritize fresh, locally sourced ingredients to support your well-being during the retreat. Q: Are excursions or local experiences included? A: Yes, we offer excursions to nearby attractions or cultural experiences to enrich your stay. Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Yoga Retreat Participation Organizer: The organizer of this yoga retreat is Avra Yoga, legally represented by Maria Natsouli. Booking and Payment: To secure your spot, a deposit of 350€ is required at the time of booking. A contract will be sent to you with all details and T&Cs to sign before we proceed with tickets booking. For tickets booking we need a clear photocopy of your valid passport, which has to have more than 6 months validity in order for you to be able to travel abroad. If you don't choose to pay in full then you agree the following payment plan 350€ deposit is required for booking your spot. The remaining amount can be paid in installments that will be calculated at the time of booking. 40% of the total amount must be covered until 15/11/2025. 60% of the total amount must be covered until 15/12/2025. 80% of the total amount must be covered until 15/1/2026. Full payment must be done until 30/1/2026. If you miss any of the payments the organizer has the right to cancel your spot and refund you as per the cancellation policy. Payments can be done either by the online links provided, bank transfer or cash at Avra Yoga Studio. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking you will be charged with cancellation charges as per the policy below Up to 80 days days before departure 200€ per person 81-50 days before departure 40% of total amount per person 51-30 days before departure 80% of total amount per person 30-0 days before departure 100% of the total amount per person will be held Itinerary Flexibility: The organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule, accommodations, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances, weather conditions, safety concerns, or in order to enhance the overall group experience. This may include changes in the timing or location of classes, rearrangement of daily activities, or the cancellation of certain events if necessary. Participant flexibility and understanding are appreciated, as some decisions may need to be made at short notice for the benefit of the group. Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, delays, baggage loss, medical expenses, and other unforeseen events. While we strive to ensure a smooth and safe retreat, unexpected situations can arise, and travel insurance offers important protection and peace of mind before and during your trip. Visa & Traveler Responsibilities: It is the sole responsibility of each participant to obtain the required tourist visa for Tanzania (Zanzibar) and to secure the mandatory travel insurance required for entry into the country. Without valid travel insurance, entry into Zanzibar may be denied by local authorities. Participants must also ensure compliance with any additional entry requirements, including vaccinations, health protocols, or other necessary documentation. The organizer bears no responsibility for issues arising from a failure to meet these requirements. Health and Fitness: Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit for the retreat activities. Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or dietary restrictions upon booking. Participant Conduct: Respectful behavior towards fellow participants, staff, and the retreat property is expected at all times. Any disruptive behavior or actions that may compromise the safety or well-being of others may result in dismissal from the retreat without refund. Liability: Participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the retreat activities, releasing the organizers from any liability for personal injuries, accidents, or losses. Changes to Itinerary: The organizers reserve the right to modify the retreat schedule, accommodations, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns. Photography and Media: Photographs or videos taken during the retreat may be used for promotional purposes. Please inform us if you prefer not to be featured in promotional material. Force Majeure: The organizers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, or government restrictions. Agreement to Terms: Booking and payment for the retreat indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
